Text settings
You can edit the text settings in the Tool Property palette.
Basic text settings
The following settings for text will appear in the Tool Property palette when the Text sub tool is selected.
(1)Font
Choose the font you want to use.This dropdown opens the Font list dialog.
(2)Size
Set the font size.
(3)Style
Add font styles such as bold, italics, or strikethrough.
(4)Justify
You can justify text to the left, right, or center.
(5)Text direction
Select whether to write horizontally or vertically.
(6)Text color
Select whether to use the main color, sub color, or a user-specified color for new text.
(7)Mode
Choose the type of transformation when a transformation box is active.
(8)Keep aspect ratio
Keeps the proportions of the text when transforming.
Advanced text settings
If you open the Sub Tool Detail palette, you can find more advanced settings for text, including line and character spacing, and settings for adding edges or a background color to text.
The following setting groups are available for the Text tool:"Editing Properties", "Compatibility", "Font", "Line space/alignment", "Text", "Edit settings", "Text list", "Reading", "Circular text", and "Transformation settings".
Depending on the tool, the categories that can be set differ as follows.Even in the same category, there may be different settings available
·When using the Text tool, the Edit Settings category will not appear if the Editing Properties category > Apply to > is set to New only, unless text is already selected.
·When using the Object tool, the Edit Settings and Editing Properties categories do not appear.
