Dot pen
You can adjust the brush density when using the Dot pen sub tool.
(1)Brush density
Adjusts the opacity of each brush tip image.Tap the Dynamics icon to make the brush density reflect changes in the pen pressure and stroke speed.
(2)Correct velocity input
When velocity dynamics are enabled for settings such as the brush density or opacity, you can then set Correct velocity input. This allows you to switch between methods that calculate the speed of a pen stroke.
Drawing interval
When drawing with sub tools in the Figure tool > Focus lines or Speed lines groups or the Balloon tool > Flash sub tool, you can change settings for the space between adjacent lines.
You can use the same settings when a focus lines layer or speed lines layer is selected with the Object sub tool.
(1)Gap of line
You can set the spacing between adjacent lines with a slider or numerical value.
When drawing or editing focus lines, you can select the line spacing method to Gap of line (angle) or Gap of line (distance).
Gap of line (angle) |
You can set the spacing between adjacent lines by specifying an angle relative to the center point. |
Gap of line (distance) |
You can set the distance between adjacent lines by specifying a distance relative to the reference line. |
(2)Disarray
When turned on, you can vary the gaps between lines. The indicator allows you to configure the degree of variation. When setting with a numerical value or slider, you can set it in percentage units.
(3)Grouping
When turned on, the lines are created with grouped segments. With this setting, you can draw focus lines and speed lines that alternate grouped lines and spaces with no lines.Use the slider to configure the number of lines per grouping.
(4)Disarray
When turned on, you can vary the number of lines in each Grouping. The indicator allows you to configure the degree of variation. When setting with a numerical value or slider, you can set it in percentage units.
(5)Gap
Allows you to adjust the space between two adjacent groupings. The gap is defined by the number of lines that can be drawn in it.The value set in Gap is multiplied by the Gap of line value to determine the width of the empty space.
(6)Maximum number of lines
When drawing or editing speed lines, you can set the maximum number of lines that will be drawn. The number of lines set here will be the upper limit even when the speed line is drawn in a wide range. This setting does not appear when drawing or editing focus lines.
Drawing position
When drawing with sub tools in the Figure tool > Focus lines or Speed lines groups or the Balloon tool > Flash sub tool, you can change settings for the line lengths and the drawing position.
You can use the same settings when a focus lines layer or speed lines layer is selected with the Object sub tool.
(1)Length
You can set the length of focus lines and speed lines.
(2)Disarray
When turned on, you can draw lines of different lengths. The indicator allows you to configure the degree of variation. You can also enter a numerical value to specify the variation in percentage units.
(3)Extend lines
When turned on, the lines extend past the edges of the frame. If there is no frame border folder, the lines extend up to the crop marks or canvas edge.
(4)Reference position
You can which part of the line aligns with the reference line.
You can select from Starting point, Middle point, or Ending point.
Focus lines can be set to Inner side, Middle point, or Outer side. For how to create and edit focus lines, see "Speed lines and Focus lines".
(5)Gap from reference position
When turned on, you can vary the configured reference position. The slider allows you to adjust the degree of variation.
(6) Uneven reference position
When turned on, you create uneven start positions for each line in the focus lines. This setting does not appear when drawing or editing speed lines.
(7)Number
You can specify the number of uneven lines. This setting can be adjusted when Uneven reference position is turned on.
(8)Height
You can add a height difference to the unevenness of the focus lines. The larger the value, the more variation in the height of the lines. This setting can be adjusted when Uneven reference position is turned on.
