Management Files and Page Files

Multiple-page projects are stored inside a management folder containing a management file (extension: .cmc). The management folder contains each page’s Clip Studio format file (extension: .clip) and the management file is used to manage all page files.

Important

When creating a story with multiple pages, do not directly replace page management files or page files in the folder directly from your file explorer or finder.This may cause the files to become corrupted and not open correctly.Use the Page Manager to manage the page files.

Create a management file

To create a multi-page project, turn on Multiple Pages in the New dialog.

You can also add more pages to a single-page canvas by performing the following actions.The Create story folder dialog will pop up and prompt you to create a management folder and files.

·Add/duplicate pages

·Import a different file as a new page

·Try to view the next page

·Use Batch import or Continuous Scan

·Change the project settings to have multiple pages
