Galaxy series (Android)

You can use Galaxy’s unique features on Samsung Galaxy series devices in Clip Studio Paint.

DeX Mode

Use Clip Studio Paint in DeX Mode on compatible Galaxy devices and connect to a display or WacomOne.

Displaying your canvas on an external monitor

Go to the View menu > Show canvas on external monitor to show just the canvas on the connected display.This is useful if you want to check your work on a large screen.

Display on your computer

Install the DeX Mode application on Windows and connect it to your Galaxy series tablet or smartphone to use Clip Studio Paint installed on your Windows device.

When displayed in DeX mode, the specifications change as follows:

·By default, a scrollbar will appear on the canvas.

·By default, brush and pen cursors are set to the size of the brush tip shape.

Air Actions

If you are using a model that supports S Pen air actions, such as the Galaxy Tab S series, you can use Air Actions to operate Clip Studio Paint.

Air Action Settings

Set Air Actions from the Clip Studio Paint logo menu > Air Action Settings.

(1)Air Action Operations

Operations in Clip Studio Paint you can assign to air actions.

(2)Assigned functions

Clip Studio Paint operations can be selected from the pull-down menu for assigning Air Actions.As soon as you select an item, the dialog box for the selected function will appear.

(3)Settings

Tap this and a dialog box corresponding to the assigned action will appear.You can set detailed operations in this dialog box.

(4)Reset

Tap to return the Air Action settings to their initial state.

Setting shortcuts to Air Actions

If you are using a device that supports S Pen Air Actions, you can set Shortcut Settings for air actions.Select the function for the shortcut and tap Edit shortcut. This will perform the shortcut.Tap the screen when the Air Action movement you want to set appears.Tap OK to confirm.
