Cut/Copy/Paste
Cut, copy, and paste selections using the Edit menu > Cut, Copy, and Paste commands.
You can also use standard keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+X to cut, Ctrl+C to copy, and Ctrl+V to paste.You can cut or copy multiple layers that are selected.
When there is an active selection on the canvas, only the content within the selection will be cut or copied.If there is no selection area, the command will apply to the entire layer or layer folder.
Memo | To select multiple layers, hold Ctrl or Shift while selecting the layers.On tablet devices, you can use the checkbox in the Layer palette to select several layers at once. |
In the Edit menu, there are two options for pasting images.
·Paste places the image at the same location it was cut from.
·Paste to shown position places the image at the center of the canvas.
You can also duplicate entire layers or selections within layers using the Layer menu or Layer palette menu > Duplicate layer. On devices with a keyboard, you can hold Alt and drag a layer to duplicate it.
